Releases

Everything we’ve shipped to Bobbin, newest first.

  1. New Features & Improvements

      • Password setup for people added in Bobbin — Tutors, clients and students created directly in Bobbin now receive an email to set a password and sign in. Admins can resend it, and there is a forgot-password option on the login page.
      • Refine with AI on progress reports — Progress reports can now be refined with AI, the same way lesson summaries already could.
      • Time and date preferences carried over from TutorCruncher — Companies that use 12-hour time, a different date format or a different timezone in TutorCruncher now see those preferences in Bobbin.
      • Account emails come from Bobbin — Emails about your account, billing, verification and passwords are sent from Bobbin's own address. Emails about your lessons, such as reports and review requests, continue to come from your agency's address, and all of them keep your branding.
      • Lesson report emails for larger lessons — Report emails are now prepared and sent in batches, so lessons with a large number of students are handled smoothly.
      • Activity log — Changes synced from TutorCruncher now appear as system activity rather than being attributed to a person.

    Bug Fixes

      • Rejoining a lesson — Fixed an issue where students rejoining a lesson could be asked to enter their name again, so their attendance stays attached to the right student.
      • Entering the learning space — Fixed an issue where a lesson space could not be entered; affected spaces now recover automatically the next time someone joins.
      • Lessons running past their end time — Fixed an issue where people joining a lesson that was running late could be removed shortly after joining.
      • Switching organisation — Fixed an issue where switching between organisations did not stick for people who belong to more than one.

      • Billing pages — Billing pages and free-hours calculations now load faster.

      • Tutor feedback visibility — Tutors no longer see their own AI performance feedback unless an admin enables it.
      • Search-as-you-type filters — Large filter dropdowns (students, tutors, clients, courses, lessons) now let you type to search, keeping pages fast for big organisations.
      • Complete lessons without a recording — Lessons without a usable recording can now be completed and billed as normal.
      • Clearer trial status — Expired free trials are now shown clearly instead of appearing as empty data.
