  1. New Features & Improvements

      • Adding people who are already in another of your organizations — When an admin adds a tutor, client or student whose email already belongs to someone in one of their organizations, the form says who it is and asks before linking them, and the account joins under its own name with no invite to accept. If the person is already in this organization, the form offers them instead. Edit forms now also say when a name or email change reaches the person's other roles.
      • Find lessons deleted in TutorCruncher that Bobbin kept — Admins of a TutorCruncher-linked organization get a "Deleted in TutorCruncher" tab on the lessons list for lessons Bobbin kept because they were recorded or held in a Bobbin space. The lesson page shows when it was deleted and how to recover it from TutorCruncher's Rubbish Bin.
      • Accepting an invite on an unconfirmed account — Someone who has never confirmed their email address with Bobbin now chooses a password as part of accepting an invite to join an organization. That password becomes the account's password from then on.
      • Deleting lessons and courses with a safeguarding flag — When an admin deletes a lesson or course that has a safeguarding flag, the delete dialog asks them to confirm that the flags go with it. Tutors are told that an admin can delete it if it is no longer needed.
      • Changing someone's email address — The edit and resend-invite dialogs now explain what happens after an email change: if the old address had been confirmed, the organization's emails keep going there until the new one is confirmed.
      • A fresh look for empty pages — Every empty state in the app now sits on a card with its feature's icon, matching the lesson plan panel.
      • Opening a sign-in link while signed in — If a sign-in link belongs to a different account from the one you are signed in to, Bobbin now asks before switching you over.

    Bug Fixes

      • Lesson plans from any of your agencies' classrooms — Tutors and admins who work with more than one agency can now view and create lesson plans from any agency's classroom without switching agency first.
      • Long email addresses in notifications — A long email address in a notification now wraps neatly inside the card.

  2. New Features & Improvements

      • Adding people who are already in another of your organizations — When an admin adds a tutor, client or student whose email already belongs to someone in one of their organizations, the form says so and links that account straight away, with no invite to accept. A person's profile now also lists the other roles they hold in the organization, and changing their name or email updates all of them.
      • Find lessons deleted in TutorCruncher that Bobbin kept — Admins can now open a "Deleted in TutorCruncher" view on the lessons list to find lessons Bobbin kept because they were recorded or held in a Bobbin space. The lesson page shows when it was deleted and how to recover it from TutorCruncher's Rubbish Bin.

Both addresses receive an email explaining this. Sign-in and password resets use the new address straight away.
      • Parent emails keep links out of AI-written text — The AI-written parts of lesson report and progress report emails to parents no longer include web links or email addresses. Tutor notes are unchanged, and the full text is still in Bobbin and the attached PDF.
      • Group lesson summaries no longer name individual children — Because every family on a group lesson receives the same summary, new summaries refer to "the student" or "the students" instead. One-to-one lesson summaries still use the student's name.
      • Connected AI assistants sign out with you — After someone changes their password, turns two-factor sign-in on or off, or has their email removed, any AI assistant they connected to Bobbin is disconnected straight away and asks them to reconnect. Once, after this release, anyone who has previously changed their password or two-factor setting will also be asked to reconnect their assistant.

    Bug Fixes

      • Lesson plans from any of your agencies' classrooms — Tutors and admins who work with more than one agency can now view and create lesson plans from any agency's classroom without switching agency first.
      • Course rosters for parents — Parents viewing a group course now see only their own children in its student list, as they already do on its lessons. Admins and tutors still see everyone.
      • Retrying an in-person recording after a transcription error — Pressing Retry on a recording that failed with a transcription error now transcribes it again from the start.
      • In-person recordings settle more reliably — A recording that has finished or failed now always shows as such, so the tutor can start a new recording on that lesson straight away.

      • Attendance tab — Student and tutor profiles now show attendance for past lessons, with an attendance rate.
      • Shared lesson history on courses — When enabled, tutors can read completed lessons other tutors taught on their courses.

      • Full-name search on people lists — Find Clients, Students and Tutors by first and last name, in any order.
      • Tutors can read earlier lessons on their courses — A new Lesson Settings switch lets course tutors read completed lesson reports.
      • Inviting people who already use Bobbin — They now confirm by email before joining, and see nothing until they accept.
      • Invites from CSV imports — Imported people now get an invite email, just like people added one at a time.
      • Confirming a changed email address — When an admin changes someone's email, the new address gets a confirmation link.
      • Clearer AI insights status — Lesson pages now explain why insights aren't available, and offer regenerating only when it helps.

      • Course suggestions for new lessons — The course picker in "New lesson" now starts with the courses you are most likely to need, including the one that usually meets at the time you clicked.
      • Template suggestions for course plans — When browsing curriculum plans for a course, Bobbin now suggests the best matches first, with the full list one click away.
      • Safeguarding email choices — Admins can now choose, for each safeguarding category, whether to email all concerns, severe concerns only, or record them without emails.
      • Recording consent requests — When adding a student, admins can note that recording consent is still to come, and Bobbin emails the client to ask. Agencies that collect consent themselves can switch this off in lesson settings.
      • Lesson insights in the lesson's language — Summaries, chapters and insights are now written in the language the lesson was taught in.
      • More accurate lesson summaries — Lesson summaries now refer to the students in the lesson more precisely.
      • Smarter safeguarding detection — Off-platform contact detection now tells everyday talk about emailing work apart from real requests for contact details.
      • Clearer signup email for existing clients and students — People who already use Bobbin as a client or student now get a clearer explanation before creating a new company.
      • Business questionnaire for agency owners — Tutors given admin access now go straight to the product tour, while the agency owner still gets the questionnaire.
      • Clearer message when a lesson room needs a moment — If a lesson room can't open right away, Bobbin now asks you to try again in a minute.

    Bug Fixes

      • Next steps in progress reports — Resolved an issue where some progress reports showed fewer next steps than expected.
      • TutorCruncher reminder links for parents — Parents linked to a student as an extra contact can now open lessons from TutorCruncher reminder emails.

      • Pronouns in lesson plans — Fixed an issue where AI lesson plans could occasionally use "they" where "them" belongs.

    Speed Improvements

      • Demo data — Setting up a demo organization and resetting demo data are now faster.

      • In-person recording settings — Admins can now turn in-person lesson recording on or off from the new Beta tab in Settings.

      • New Irish course plan templates — Added ready-made plans for Junior Cycle History, Geography, Religious Education, Business Studies and Music, and for Leaving Certificate Economics (Higher and Ordinary).
      • Richer Irish-language course plans — The Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate Irish templates now follow the real syllabus, with modules for grammar, the prescribed stories and poems, and each part of the oral exam.

    Bug Fixes

      • Live attendance during busy periods — The "who's here" panel of a running lesson now stays accurate while other lessons in the same agency are finishing.
      • Parents filtering courses by child — Resolved an issue where a parent filtering the Courses page by one of their children could see the list fail to load.
      • Resource library author filter — The "Uploaded by" filter now lists only active accounts, so repeated "Deleted User" entries no longer appear. Files uploaded by deleted accounts stay in the library.
      • Sample report dates in new accounts — The sample progress report in a newly created account now quotes the same date as its sample lesson.

    Speed Improvements

      • Responsiveness under load — Bobbin stays more responsive for everyone when the database is busy, including the lessons list, joining a lesson and AI features.

      • Course check when scheduling — Scheduling a lesson now warns you as soon as you pick a course whose TutorCruncher job has been removed.
      • Resource visibility at a glance — The resources list now shows who can see each file and folder.

      • Lesson records kept after TutorCruncher changes — If an appointment is deleted in TutorCruncher after its online lesson has started, Bobbin now keeps the lesson with its attendance, transcript and recording.
      • Clearer message for unlinked courses — When a course's TutorCruncher job has been deleted or moved, tutors now see a plain explanation when scheduling a lesson on it.

    Bug Fixes

      • Completing lessons for all tutor permission levels — Resolved an issue where tutors on the "add and edit" or "edit" permission levels could not mark lessons complete in Bobbin.

      • Import TutorCruncher jobs as courses — Admins can now bring existing TutorCruncher jobs into Bobbin from the Courses page. A picker lists the jobs not yet on Bobbin, with filters by tutor, student or client, and shows a link to each new course once imported.
      • Course outline redesign — The course page now has a Summary tab and a Course outline tab. The outline shows a module index with progress for each module alongside the selected module in full, opening on the module most recently taught.
